Harry Potter
I have never really been a big fan of the Harry Potter books, they have always just seemed a bit boring to me even as a young kid. However I do believe them to be well written books, in theory the storys are fun and have the normal plot twist and so on that a book about young wizards should have. One aspect that has always interested me about the Harry Potter books is the rich character backgrounds, there are some really fun characters. I find my self more interested in individual characters life's more so than the main plot to the book. Over all the Harry Potter series does what it was set out to do, a fun book about "occult" themes that is geared towards kids :).

Adorable movie! It reminded me a lot of The Goonies or really any older live action children movie. The story line was great and kept me interested as well as the fun characters. This movie makes you feel like you have just jumped right into a book, which is what they were going for I'm assuming. This movie was just all around great and kept me laughing, I will definitely be watching it again!
